Hello everyone!

I am Danielle and this is my blog. I am a runner, yogi, workout fanatic, and health nut. For starters, here is a little bit about me. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). I completed my Bachelor’s of Science at Oakland University majoring in Wellness, Health Promotion, and Injury Prevention. I am now a Certified Wellness Practitioner through the National Wellness Institute and working towards being the best public health professional I can. I am known as a health nerd and I take pride in that because it’s how I live my life and part of who I am.

I grew up with reoccurring stomach problems that took years to figure out. It affected how I felt, how I performed, and what I ate. Once I had surgery, it was an immediate relief. I cherish my good health now and live a life revolved around doing anything and everything to keep it that way. My goal is to inspire and motivate others to do things that your body will thank you for.

I am currently a 5x marathon runner and 2x Boston Qualifier! I ran the 121st and 122nd Boston Marathon and am in the process of making plans for my next race this fall in Detroit! Running is a huge part of my life and I wouldn’t want it any other way. You can also find me out on the trails either mountain biking or hiking. I spend a lot of time on my yoga mat and drink too much tea. I have big dreams and I am not afraid to go after them. I will use this space to share my adventures, training/races, recipes, the ups, and the downs. I hope you will join me on this wonderful journey.
